Valley Junior High School Athletic League (VJHSAL)

Welcome to the home page of Valley Junior High School Athletic League.

About Us

This after school sports league provides opportunity for our community athletes to experience a variety of sports, interschool competition, team play and sportsmanship.

Overview

The VJHSAL After-School Sports League allows the participants to experience inter-school competition, team play and sportsmanship.

It is the goal of this league to provide an inter-school athletic program to as many students as possible. The program offers sport-specific instruction and reinforces the principles of self-esteem building, self-discipline and conscientious sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, referees, parents and administrators.

During the 2014-2015 school year, there will be 10 schools participating in the VJSHAL. This includes schools in Los Altos, Mountain View, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and San Jose. We are pleased with our continuing relationship with these schools, as it has provided us with a wide base of competition for our after-school sports league.  We would like to welcome back Crittenden Middle School in Mountain View.  They will be joining us for cross country, track and fill-in any team sports spots left vacant by the other 10 teams in the league.  Best of luck, and welcome to all the Panther fans out there!!
